The Beatle Woods Team

Pleased to Meet You

Rachel Macbeth-Webb

Co-founder and Manager

Rachel Macbeth-Webb is Co-founder and Manager; she has an extensive and varied early years work experience, including most recently, managing a local pre-school for 6 years. Rachel has a passion for everything to do with young children and is constantly reflecting and building knowledge. She has a BA Hons in early Childhood Studies and has Early Years Teacher Status. Rachel has lived and worked in the local community for many years and is committed to improving outcomes for all children. She has recently completed her Level 3 Forest School qualification and has a deep rooted belief that children need to be outdoors. Rachel has completed a number of professional qualifications, including Solihull Approach and Autism Awareness training and has a natural interest in all research, both at home and on an international scale. In her spare time (there isn’t much), Rachel likes to spend time with her family, walk her dog, read and exercise!

Claire Sargeant

Deputy Manager

Claire Sargeant is Beatle Woods Deputy; Claire has also worked for many years in Berkswell and at the same pre-school as Rachel. When offered the chance to start a new chapter at an outdoor nursery, Claire jumped at the chance and the opportunity to gain new skills and ways of supporting children. Claire is our SENCO and uses her vast experience to support children with additional needs, using our amazing environment to ensure they have the best possible start. Claire holds a level 3 Childcare qualification and is totally dedicated to ensuring children have the opportunity to flourish.

Claire enjoys spending any free time she has with her son, going on days out, walks in the countryside, going for meals and to the theatre. She also enjoys teaching her son how to cook! Claire also enjoys reading and socialising with her friends.

Kristy Webb

Early Years Educator

Our early years forest educator is Kristy Webb, who also worked with both Claire and Rachel at the previous setting. Kristy is particularly interested in the impact of learning outdoors on personal and social development; indeed her son currently spends part of his week with us and part in school. Kristy holds level 3 and also level 5 qualification in leadership and management; she now plans to further develop her knowledge and skills by commencing a Foundation Degree. Kristy has 2 young children and in her spare time, devotes herself to them whilst retaining a hunger for running! You may well see her pounding the streets of Balsall Common when she gets the chance!
